This year we joyously celebrate the 20th anniversary of the College. What a magnificent, transformational journey it has been to be of service to the thousands of students who have attended our school. We stand in awe having witnessed the spiritual growth of so many wonderful souls. As our students transform and find meaning in their lives, we evolve further too in greater purpose. When we first started the College, 20 years ago, being on a spiritual path was considered ‘fringe’ and now it has become acceptable to so many in mainstream society.

It is with continued passion we launch our 2008/2009 Calendar and the leading edge programs we offer.  Having started the College in 1988, it is very rewarding to have greatly surpassed our vision of creating aunique educational venue, combining ancient wisdom and contemporary mysticism and spirituality. We have grown from offering part-time personal growthcourses to professional post-secondary education in the Spiritual Psychotherapy and Holistic Health fields, providing a place conducive to personal and spiritual growth in a non-dogmatic environment.

Each year, the College welcomes many students from Canada and around the world to study, be tutored and guided in developing a spiritual value system unique to each individual. Many of our graduates have created successful careers as Psychotherapists, Holistic Practitioners and Coaches, guided by their spiritual values and assisting others to discover their own.

Over the past 20 years, we have watched our Beloved Planet go through so much upheaval and transformation – whether it has been the dismantling of the Berlin Wall, freedom from apartheid in South Africa, the AIDS pandemic, terrorism, tsunamis and global warming. The planet is indeed in a healing crisis, yet as consciousness and awareness expands, so much opportunity for spiritual advancement exists.

It is thrilling to be alive at such a critical moment in the history of humankind – realizing that we have a responsibility to make new choices for co-creating our future. We are right in the middle of the “Great Turning” where we must honour our “cultural and spiritual diversity acknowledging that we are one human family with a common destiny,” as so poignantly stated in The Earth Charter.

It is has been exhilarating and challenging to navigate through the transitional energies taking us 2012, the end of the Mayan Calendar or the beginning of a new epoch for humanity. With great hope and faith we believe that we will emerge as the Sacred Human, more highly evolved and compassionate in how we treat one another, other nations, other species and Gaia, our planet. We can all play an important role by continuing to do our inner healing, being of service and becoming a sacred activist for ecological integrity, social justice, non-violence and peace.

We know that in these great times of planetary change, peace, truth, love and light will prevail. Transformational Arts continues to serve as an institute of higher, spiritual learning and a sanctuary that holds this energy. We welcome you to join the thousands of individuals who have walked this luminous path of self-discovery, healing and transformation at the College.
