Relationship Counselling Certificate Course

We are always in relationship. There's never a time in our life that we aren't in some way relating to a number of people either individually or in groups. From lovers and family members to friends and co-workers, we spend most of our day dealing with, or trying to avoid, what goes on in our relationships. And even if you find yourself alone at anytime, you're probably dealing much of that time with the effects you carry within yourself of old relationships.

Relationships are one of the most important vehicles for life's significant lessons and that for any learning to take place we must not simply and benignly occupy space in them but be an active, intentional and conscious participant. To be such a participant doesn't come automatically. We are seldom given the tools and skills that would support a healthy, evolving relationship.

This course is designed to not only gain these skills personally but to also learn the skills to help others in their ability to relate well and create satisfying, healthy relationships. Though the course is mostly focused on becoming a relationship counsellor working with couples, we will also learn to apply our skills and knowledge to other forms of relationships, like family and especially those in the workplace.

This 60-hour professional training program is an advanced course designed to instruct and develop proactive therapeutic skills and techniques particular to relationship and couple's session work.
