Anatomy, Physiology and Pathology

This 48-hour course has been designed for individuals professionally or personally involved in holistic health care. It is a pre-requisite for most Holistic Studies courses. A system approach is taken in understanding the human body:

• Body systems - muscular, skeletal, nervous, circulatory, lymphatic, respiratory, digestive, urinary, endocrine, immune, reproductive and integumentary
• Pathology - the structural and functional changes in cells, tissue and organs that underlie 'dis-ease'. Local and systemic signs of disease
• Stress - its impact on anatomy, physiology and the immune system
