Counselling Services

Ken Sullivan is a Psychotherapist, Psychophysical Therapist and Relationship Counsellor providing counselling services for individuals, couples and groups. His primary focus is on the way we relate with ourselves, others and the physical and spiritual world around us. By becoming more conscious and choiceful in all our relationships we move toward peacefulness, understanding and joy. Ken delves into how we embrace or resist change and how to best have it work for us in our lives.

Michelle DesRoches is a Psychotherapist and Spiritual Director, providing counselling to individuals and groups. She believes that we heal by creating more permission for ourselves. Through true self-acceptance, we will in turn be more accepting of others. This allows us to take a more active role in creating the relationships we want.

Sabine Cox, R.I.H.R., RPC, is a spiritual psychotherapist, counsellor, facilitator and founder of Soul-Spirit Integration. In her work she focuses on helping others see, understand and integrate the different layers and streams of their lives. In doing so her clients uncover the power and choice they possess in the creation of their life experiences.

Ken, Michelle and Sabine can be reached at the Counselling Clinic at 416-484-8275 - Sabine Cox, Ken Sullivan ext. 27, Michelle DesRoches ext. 51. Their fee for registered students is $57 +GST (reduced fee possible).

Reduced Fees - For Registered Students Only

Transformational Arts College offers counselling services at a reduced fee to our student body. Many of our students are enrolled in professional training programs at the College — which require a specified number of therapy hours as part of their personal and professional development. We realize that tuition fees coupled with therapy fees can add up, so we have provided our students reduced rates for counselling through the Counselling Clinic.

Sabine Cox, Michelle DesRoches, Susan Diplock, Chris Johnson, Linda Kuschnir, John Pollard, and Ken Sullivan are the Psychotherapists for the Counselling Clinic at Transformational Arts. They are facilitators for the Total Self and Spiritual Psychotherapy Programs.

If you are a new Client and want to book your initial session call Susan Diplock, the Counselling Clinic Coordinator at 416-484-8275 ext. 26.

Therapeutic Modalities: Several therapeutic techniques taught in the Spiritual Psychotherapy Training Program are used:

  • Focusing
  • Voice-dialoguing with Sub-personalities
  • Inner Child Work
  • Guided Imagery
  • Gestalt and Experiential Psychotherapy
  • Body and Energetic Psychotherapy

Emotional Healing Intensives

Intensives involve experiential group psychotherapy completed in a short time period (usually one weekend). Through intensive emotional release under the guidance of experienced facilitators and with participation of the group members, the individual is able to reach deeper levels of self than usually possible in individual session work. Through positive encouragement and support, a new relationship to the situation can be built and healthier behavioural patterns are developed. For many students the transformational process and reframing is a life changing experience of trust, support and relief.

Three kinds of Intensives are offered at the College on scheduled weekends. Inquire for more details and a schedule:
